• Glen Hussmann

    President and CEO

    photo Brief Bio: Glen reports directly to the board and will work with the Tandus Flooring leadership team to achieve the company’s strategic growth initiatives. Prior to joining Tandus Flooring in 2007, Glen was the president, chief executive officer and chairman of the board of Reeves Brothers Inc., a global producer of specialty coated fabric products. In addition, Glen has held various leadership positions during an 18-year career in the Plastics division of General Electric.
  • Leonard F. Ferro

    Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

    photo Brief Bio: Len is responsible for directing the global financial operations of Tandus Flooring and brings more than 20 years of financial experience to the company.

    Most recently, he served as vice president, chief financial officer, secretary and treasurer for Galey & Lord, Inc., a leading manufacturer of apparel fabrics. Prior to that, he served as corporate controller for Collins & Aikman Corporation, the former owner of Tandus Flooring. Len also has more than 10 years of experience in public accounting principally with Ernst & Young.

    He earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Stockton College and is certified as a public accountant in North Carolina. Len also is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
  • Jim Harley

    Senior Vice President, Manufacturing

    photo Brief Bio: Jim’s responsibilities include managing all aspects of Tandus Flooring’s manufacturing facilities in Dalton and Canada. He is also responsible for our fiber extrusion operation in Calhoun, Georgia and Tandus Flooring Technologies.

    Jim brings extensive operational expertise to Tandus Flooring that he has acquired through many years of experience in the industry. Prior to joining Tandus Flooring, Jim was president at Chroma Systems, a commission carpet dyeing and finishing operation. Subsequent to that, Jim spent fifteen years in the commercial carpet business rising to the level of vice president and general manager.
  • J. Bradley Cummings

    Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resource Officer

    photo Brief Bio: Brad has global responsibility for the Human Resource function at Tandus Flooring. This includes talent management, leadership development, training, associate and labor relations, compensation, benefits, environmental health & safety, and community affairs. Brad brings more than 15 years experience in the retail, banking, and consulting sectors to his role at Tandus Flooring. In addition to his work in HR, Brad has also held roles in operations, finance and six-sigma.

    At Tandus Flooring, Brad is focused on developing people processes and a culture that attracts, nurtures and retains the very best talent. Constantly striving to be the destination employer in the industry enables Tandus Flooring to compete effectively and win in the marketplace.
  • Roger Ray

    President, Tandus Asia

    Years with Tandus Flooring: 3 (joined in Feb 2008)

    Brief Bio: Roger oversees the strategic growth initiatives for Tandus Asia, including China and the Pacific Rim regions. Prior to joining Tandus Asia, Roger’s Asia-based roles included:
    • • Vice President, Asia and General Manager, China for Academy Precious Metals (China) Co. – a grass-roots start-up business;
    • • Vice President, Asia for Invensys Building Control Systems;
    • • General Manager, China for Invensys Appliance Control Systems; and
    • • Operations Director for Honeywell China’s Industrial Automation business.

    Roger has led successful initiatives in China and the Asian region in a variety of business situations for the past fifteen years. His experience, knowledge of the region and practical approach to developing and leading teams are highly beneficial attributes as Tandus Flooring business continues to expand in Asia.

    Roger and his family have lived in China since 1996.
  • Rusty Joyce

    Senior Vice President, North American Sales

    photo Brief Bio: Rusty Joyce brings almost 25 years of commercial floor covering experience to Tandus Flooring. Rusty started his career as an account executive in Chicago, IL and Indianapolis, IN. He became a regional vice president at the age of twenty-six with a stint in New York and Chicago. Rusty moved to Toronto in the early 90’s and was charged with overseeing all sales for Canada. In his most recent role at Tandus Flooring, Rusty has been responsible for leading the Sales Team and instrumental in continuing the growth of the company. Rusty is passionate about Tandus Flooring becoming the destination employer in the industry. As Rusty says, it is all about people.
  • Tom Ellis

    Vice President, Marketing

    photo Formerly vice president of sales, Tom Ellis is responsible for developing marketing strategies for all Tandus Flooring brands, expanding opportunities for new markets and exploring new product technologies and applications. He joined Tandus Flooring as general manager, Education Markets, in 1998, and was instrumental in growing the education business at a double-digit rate. He was promoted to vice president of marketing in 2003 with strategic marketing responsibility for the Education, Healthcare and Government market segments.

    Mr. Ellis has been actively involved with the company's focus on indoor air quality and surrounding environmental issues. He brings over 27 years of industry experience to his new role. He served as a regional sales manager for Formica Corp. for nine years and represented Armstrong World Industries in both the commercial wall coverings and architectural building products divisions for seven years. He is a member of the Council of Education Facilities Planners International (CEFPI), and former Chair of the CEFPI Foundation & Charitable Trust. Mr. Ellis is also actively involved with a number of education and design organizations, including the Association of College and University Housing Officers (ACUHO), the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the National School Plant Management Assoc. (NSPMA), the Association of Higher Education Facilities Management, and the U.S. EPA Tools for Schools program.

    A native of Winter Garden, Florida, Mr. Ellis earned a bachelor of arts in English from Florida State University.
  • Ray Dunn

    Vice President of Sales, Corporate & Retail

    photo Brief Bio: For 10 years Ray has been responsible for developing the strategic account platforms and support service that support Tandus Flooring’s corporate and retail end users on a global basis. He brings more than 25 years of experience in the commercial floorcovering industry to this position.

    He is an active member of International Facility Managers Association (IFMA) and CoreNet.

    Dunn earned a bachelor of business administration in management from the University of Georgia.
  • Jim Sandy

    Vice President, Dealer Development

    photo Jim brings over twenty-three years experience to the commercial floorcovering industry, within the distribution and manufacturing side of the industry. For the past five years, Mr. Sandy held the position of national account executive for Tandus Flooring’s Long Term Care markets and prior to joining Tandus Flooring, Jim worked as a national accounts manager at Mannington.
  • Carl Hulme

    Vice President, Tandus Flooring Canada

    Carl Hulme, vice president of Tandus Flooring Canada, leads a sales organization that has been very effective at selling all three Tandus Flooring product brands to all market segments for several years. Hulme has been with Crossley since 1984, serving as vice president of Sales since 1990. Prior to 1990, Hulme was National accounts manager, where he was responsible for over 40 percent of Crossley's Canadian business. Prior to joining Crossley, Hulme worked for Eaton's of Canada, Home Furnishings Division.

    Hulme grew up and attended school in the U.K. where after graduation from school he joined the largest floorcovering retailer in the north of England where he served his apprenticeship. As part of this apprenticeship he attended Bradford Technical College where he earned a certificate in Floorcoverings & textiles. He emigrated to Canada in 1979 where he joined Eaton's of Canada as a regional manager. He also attended the Eaton School of Business, receiving a diploma in Executive Management.

    Carl is a member of ARIDO and IFMA.
