Modular Carpet Technology
Conserv Modular is a high performance carpet backing that uses fewer nonrenewable resources and weighs 25% less than standard modular carpet products. Like all Tandus Flooring products, Conserv is 100% closed-loop recyclable in our existing recycling process.
ER3, standard on Tandus Flooring modular carpet, is our 100% recycled content backing. ER3 modular is certified an Environmentally Preferable Product and achieved NSF-140 Platinum rating from Scientific Certification Systems (SCS). This is the only standard product from any flooring company to achieve both of these ratings.

Tandus Flooring looked outside our industry to find a waste stream we could recycle into flooring. This search led to the development of ethos. ethos products are made from recycled PBV film commonly found in the abundantly available waste from windshields and safety glass.
