RS Installation System

Tandus Floorings invention of the RS Installation System, (mill-applied “peel and stick” process) in 1988, eliminated the need for wet glues and revolutionized the industry. In addition to virtually eliminating VOCs associated with new flooring installation, the RS system has prevented more than three million glue buckets to local landfill and saved thousands of gallons of fuel in transportation.

Powerbond

Introduced in 1967, Powerbond was the industry’s first hybrid resilient sheet flooring constructed of a nylon wear layer and closed cell cushion “Powerbonded” together through heat and pressure. In the past four decades, Powerbond has proven to be a fiscally responsible product that supports a healthier indoor environment, an innovative design medium and a product that is an environmentally responsible choice.
